See No Evil

The project aims to immerse the users into an environment in which they cannot see but can only hear. The project will make use of binaural audio (3D stereo sound sensation). A six minute audio clip of being inside a psychiatric hospital will be played to the user as they are sat blindfolded. The interaction is recorded with a with a pulse sensor that will display the users BPM and a graph showing changes in the users pulse. This will be displayed for others watching and will also be recorded and can be emailed to the user if they please.

Fear is the main emotion the project aims to trigger in the user as the horror genre in films, games, tv shows and more, is the most immersive genre. However unlike those categories of entertainment this project will allow the users mind to make its own scenarios based purely of what they are listening to.
